Ingredients
- 3 Cups of Rice |米 3合
- 500 ~ 700 g of Chestnuts (weight with husk)|栗(殻付き)
- 2 Teaspoon Salt |塩 小匙2
- 5cm x 5cm of Dried Kelp (Konbu) |昆布 5cm x 5cm
- 1 Tablespoon Sake |酒 大匙1
Instructions
- 【Cooking the Rice (Using a rice cook】
- Wash the rice and leave the rice to dry (to let the moisture sink into the rice) before cooking.
- transfer 3 cups of rice into the rice cooker and add water to scale (3 cups) and salt and the 5cm x 5cm kelp.
- Let the ingredients soak for at least 30 ~ 60 minutes, adding the peeled chestnuts last and turn the switch on for cooking.
- Once the rice is cooked, sprinkle the sake over while mixing the rice and let the rice settle before serving.
- 栗ごはんを炊く前に、白ごはんを炊く要領で米を研ぎます。
- 炊飯器の場合 … 研いだ米を炊飯器の内釜に移し、3合の目盛まで水を加えます。30分~1時間ほどそのまま浸水させたあとに、分量の塩を加えて軽く混ぜて溶かします。最後に栗を上に広げて炊飯します。炊きあがり、酒を全体にふりかけ蒸らします。
